To the chargé d’ Affaires of the Indian embassy in The Netherlands
Namaskar,
We trust this message finds you well. As Chairmen of the Dutch Hindoe Council (Hindoeraad), we are writing to draw your immediate attention to serious allegations regarding the sacred Tirupati laddoe, a significant offering made to devotees at the renowned Tirumala Venkateswara Temple. Recent reports claim that animal fat has been used in the preparation of these laddoes, which, if verified, constitutes a grave violation of Hindoe religious sanctity and the beliefs of millions of worshippers.
The use of animal-derived ingredients in this context not only undermines the trust of devotees but is also a clear desecration of a long-held tradition. These reports have caused deep concern and outrage among the Hindoe community in the Netherlands and globally, as the Tirupati Laddoe is regarded as one of the holiest prasadam.
Additionally, there have been claims that these allegedly impure laddoes have been distributed to other sacred temples, including the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Such an act, if substantiated, represents an even broader breach of faith for Hindoes who visit these sites with the utmost reverence.
On behalf of the Hindoe community in the Netherlands, we urgently request the Government of Bharat to take immediate action to investigate these allegations thoroughly. It is essential to hold accountable those involved, ensuring that the religious sentiments of Hindoes worldwide are respected. Furthermore, we seek assurances that proper protocols will be established to prevent any such violations from occurring again in the future.
The Dutch Hindoe community, along with many others, would deeply appreciate timely updates and transparency regarding the steps being taken to address this matter. Your prompt response and the actions of the Bharat government will play a crucial role in restoring the trust of devotees and safeguarding the sanctity of our religious practices.
Thank you for your attention to this serious issue. We look forward to your response.
Yours sincerely,
Namaskar,
Hindoe Council of The Netherlands
